Fourth in a series of large carved relief roundel wall-pieces. Focussing on our use of oil which powers climate change and fuels and engenders conflicts. However, in 2026, next time I consider this issue I should include drones and missiles. Carved and painted redwood and Canadian yellow pine.

As well as using carved wood relief to make studies of natural forms and play with light and shade, texture, pattern and colour, I also use it to make comment on, and deplore, celebrate, support and criticise the situations humans create on this planet.
